Elijah Bristow State Park

The Elijah Bristow State Park is on the Willamette Highway (Hwy 58) about 9 miles from I5. It has an equestrian staging area, trailer parking, bathrooms and picnic areas. Enjoy the various scenic trails that go along a few creeks and the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. I just stopped by for a brief visit, but I can tell that it would be a great place to stop for a hike and have a picnic! You can also take a trail from Elijah Bristow State Park, over to the Dexter State Recreation Site. Both are day use only from 7AM to 8:30PM.

Dexter State Recreation Site

At the Dexter State Recreation Site you'll enjoy the beautiful views of the Dexter Reservoir! There is plenty of parking, a two lane boat launch, docks, bathrooms, BBQ stands and picnic tables. Don't forget to bring your frisbees and play a round of disc golf at their 18 hole course!

Visit the State of Oregon's Parks and Rec page to learn more about individual State Parks and Recreation Areas.
