Tryon Creek State Natural Area
Tryon Creek is Oregon's only state park within a major metropolitan area. There are 8 miles of trails with tons of flora and fauna to check out.

Besides all the general trails, there are areas designed for people of all ability levels, equestrian specific and bicycle specific trails.

I found that parking can be a challenge, especially during peak periods. If you don't want to leave the city though, it's a great place to catch up with friends while hiking through wonderful trails.
